James Sager

James is an associate in our office who practices in the areas of real estate, Commercial & Property Law, estate planning, and ABORIGINAL LAW. He completed his law degree at Queen’s University, where he received the Reuben Wells Leonard Prize in Law and Economics. After articling in Toronto, James was called to the bar in 2004. James has been involved in numerous asset and share purchase transactions. He is particularly interested in tax, estate planning, and rural real estate matters. James has a practical, no-nonsense, co-operative approach to the practise of law, while still being a strong advocate for his clients.

Having been a counsellor at a scouting organization for many years, James developed a love of the outdoors and decided to move north. He plays soccer, enjoys reading, writes music, and is an avid fisherman.
